Christopher Robert Evans is an American actor from the United States. The actor began his career as a character actor in television series, like Opposite sexual sex, which aired in 2000. Evans was a household name as The Human Torch Marvel Comics character in the 2005 film Fantastic Four, and the sequel Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer (2007). Evans appeared in further the film adaptations of comics and graphic novels such as TMNT (2007) Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and Snowpiercer (2013). As well as his part as Steve Rogers/Captain America Evans earned him recognition for his appearances in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies Captain America: The First Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2015) and Captain America: Civil War. Because of his Marvel work, he became one of the highest paid actors around the globe.
