Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, an artist's daughter, born in Mexico, was born to the music-loving parents of her family. As a child, she was exposed to a lot of traditional music as well as older Boleros. In addition, she was a fan of traditional romantic ballads and ranchero. Ana enjoys tangos operas and other theatrical performances. She was taught by her mother to sing, however she started more intense training in vocals with Flavio Belcerra at 16 when Belcerra was an internationally acclaimed Mexican opera Tenor. She furthered her training in music at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, then at the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In her early career, she was spent performing with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and opera choirs and chamber groups in Guadalajara. When she moved into America in the year 2000, she joined the United States in 2000, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before shifting to her residence in southern California. She is currently a member of Ensemble XXI of Redlands and is a frequent solo performer of classical Latin American music at private events. The passion and love she has for art, music, and performing keep her engaged with a variety of local initiatives as a teacher and performer. Ana is also a former member of the Community Chorus of Redlands. The Inland Master Chorale. and the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful for having the chance to share her passion and enthusiasm for old-fashioned Latin American songs with others, and in doing so hopes to instill a sense of, especially among younger generations, to help keep this tradition alive.Viva Mexico!
